Well if a Swiss yacht club can defend the Cup in Spain, I don’t see why a Californian yacht club shouldn’t defend the Cup in Rhode Island. At least it’s the same country!
If a free 75-year lease to prime waterfront property and piers in San Francisco is not a good deal for Larry, then I wonder how much he will squeeze out of the good taxpayers of Rhode Island? We are known for being a left wing city and yet we did not pay for the Giants baseball park even when they threatened to move. Just say no to corporate welfare.
