According the NY Times, the start time for Monday's first race in Valencia is 10.06 am local time, 4:06 am EST/1:06 am PST. You will be able to watch it online on ESPN360.
I found this site to be quite useful on AC info. The might Scuttlebutt probably has the best information.
I have a huge weekend of sports coming up. On Saturday, England vs Wales in the Six Nation (rugby) and then Chelsea vs Arsenal on Sunday (soccer) and there's some annual sporting event on Sunday evening that I believe is quite popular. The trick is going to be getting to sleep early enough so that I can get up and watch the AC.
Hmmm. My sporting weekend, all being well, will be a run on Friday or Saturday, and Laser sailing on Sunday.
I understand that The Who are playing a 12 minute concert some time on Sunday evening so I may stay awake long enough to watch that, but I probably won’t watch the pre-concert and post-concert shows which as far as I can understand are some big rich men in tight pants running into each other and falling over.
Then I expect to be way too tired from actual sailing to wake up at 4am on Monday morning to watch some other dudes sailing. Is anybody going to show “edited highlights” at a more reasonable hour? All I really want to see is the crash.
Don’t you gentlemen have recording devices? I find the quaint old VHS technology to still work well (and any man who is master of his own vang tension can surely program his VCR) and there are those TEVO contraptions as well.
Pete Townshend once kissed me on the cheek, but that’s another story.
