Jeremy Clarkson goes sailing

If you haven't seen the BBC and BBC America show Top Gear, you may not know who Jeremy Clarkson is. If not, let me explain. Jeremy Clarkson has the perfect job. He spends his life driving the coolest, fastest cars in the world, he is rude, funny and paid a shed-load to appear on the BBC doing all of that.

In the clip below, Jeremy and his co-presenters take three perfectly good vehicles: a truck, a camper-van and a convertible and turned them into boats. It's long but it's hilarious. The download on this is a bit dodgy so here is a better link.

  1. I love Top Gear!
There were two amphibian car challenge episodes – one in a lake and one of which they cross the English Channel (or at least try to)

  2. Top Gear is one of the most hilarious shows I’ve watched in a long time. Last night my entire family watched the show about Jeremy, Richard and James learning what it was like to be a truck driver! An absolutely classic Top Gear fun time. Great show.

  3. Maybe my favorite show, right now.
One of the funniest things I’ve seen was the one about the car that was so small it could be wheeled into the elevator and driven to meetings.
First show about cars – or sailing – that my wife actually likes, too.

  4. Mine too. I was fantasizing about “wouldn’t it be cool if you could do a Top Gear about sailing?” Sadly I think it would be missing the adrenaline rush.
My latest favorite was where they did a tournament against the German Top Gear show. They managed to use every possible British stereotype about the Germans they could find, including showing up the event in Spitfires

  5. We watched the episode about the tournament against the German Top Gear Show too! I laughed so hard my sides hurt! Our favorite line out of that show was:
“And then I heard something I have never heard before while racing.”
    “Jeremy! My arm fell off!”
My entire family was howling by this point! 🙂
