Good looking pub too.

  1. Hmmm. I know nothing about ocean cruising, sat phones or how to call the coastguard. But is this normal? If ever tempted to sail across the Atlantic alone, I kind of think I would have some emergency numbers in my phone other than my local pub.

  2. “Speaking from his local, the Bull’s Head in Fishbourne, he said: ‘I took a tumble into the cabin from the cockpit.'”
Apparently his pub will only serve him orange juice now…

  3. In this sailor’s humble opinion, Bermuda is home to some of *the most* gracious and engaging people on the planet. Add in the fact that they love to sail and to hoist a pint or whatnot, and what you’ve got is Nirvana, Xanadu, HEAVEN.
    Great story!
