A belated entry to Love and Sailing

While I realize that the Tillerman's monthly writing project on Love and Sailing is closed, I had to share a story I heard recently. Over breakfast with Stu Hochron, author of News From The Bow, Stu told me about how he proposed to his wife. You can read the full story here and it's worth reading. It was through sailing and and finding a new place to live that would be close to his boat, that Stu met his wife and it was through a shared experience of a squall on Long Island Sound that Stu was compelled to pop the question. Stu proposed with a makeshift ring fashioned from some lose line as shown here. You will have to read the full story to understand why.
