A Shout-out for Intheboatshed.net

If you haven't already been there, check out Intheboatshed.net. It's a great blog on boat restoration, the boating life and other cool boating stuff. As it's a British blog, what it lacks in sun-tanned athletes in skiffs blasting across crystal clear waters, and babes in bikinis, it makes up for in news about Thames Sailing barges, salty types in chunky sweaters Breton sailing caps and (yes Joe!) the occasional sailing canoe. The blogger-in-chief, Gavin Atkin is a freelance journalist so it's better written than the random blather you might find on ..er my blog.  He also has a great blogroll. I have long-ranted about what a crap job the Dead-Tree sailing media have done online. Intheboatshed is for me what a sailing magazine should be. Although the occasional bikini would not go amiss.
