Accident at Les Voiles de St Tropez – What Happened

A few weeks back, I posted this amazing shot by Carlo Borlenghi, of a small classic yacht being ploughed down by a much bigger one. Several people asked what happened. Yesterday, I received this comment from one of the crew: "I was a menber of the crew, fortunately nobody was injured. we were 5 on board, 4 men and a women, when the crash arrived the women jumped in the water to avoid the boat, two fell in the sea, me and another member stay on board. we have been very lucky. We were 100% in our rights which has been confirmed by the race commettee"  Hervé de Cheffontaines Good to know that no one was hurt. Many thanks Hervé for the update.
