A yachtsman hoping to become the first quadriplegic sailor to cross the Atlantic has reached the half-way point on his voyage despite problems with his boat, the Impossible Dream. Geoff Holt, 42, set off on the 2,700 mile trip from Lanzarote in the Canary Islands to the Caribbean on 10 December. He sent the BBC this report about the journey so far.
