A couple of days ago, Zephyr ran great post about the psychological pressures of solo sailing. Clearly the pressure also gets to solo rowers as well. His family is in for a big surprise c/o BYM

Oh god. The day of my arrival is
getting closer and I have no idea what to wear!! I am expected to
arrive on the 8th March in the morning. Either in Martinique or St
Lucia.

Such an important day..my family, my friends..photos, videos..the press..
I have various options but I just don’t know. I will have to try things on.
Should I wear a thong and show my new muscles? Ha ha.
Or I could put on some white boxers and white top…
What if I wear some tracksuit trousers and white top?
I also have a nautical tracksuit in white. That is kool.
It’s such a difficult decision. I should have thought about this before I left.
What about dressing like a drag queen? My  family and friends would freak!
ummmmmmmmmmmmm…I’m not sure.
Why don’t I just arrive naked. Like when I came into the world?
I can just imagine my mum shouting. ‘Cover yourself up young man.’

The truth is that I like this idea. At the end of the day, I have never understood why we have to cover ourselves up.
Now I know what I will wear. The easiest thing of all. I will wear nothing. Natural. That is me.
Kisses
