Passage to Greenport 1800 Update

Bopping along at 6kts on a beam reach. 10-12kts N, seas 1ft, sunny skies. There is no way we should ever do this trip again as it could not be better conditions.

Alice has mastered napping under sail. I am kept busy futzing with sails and stuff. Had a very pleasant hour wing on wing where I finally mastered the whisker pole.

We are about 5 miles offshore tracking along Fire Island and even this far out we are bothered by flies. It's either Alice or me attracting them
