Peter McGrath – Guest Author

For my regular readers (both of you including my Mum), you may have noticed a couple of posts in the last few weeks that have a slightly different style. I want to introduce you to a guest author, Peter McGrath.

Peter is one of the guys behind the Beagle Project (that is still accepting generous donations). He lives in the famous old fishing port of Whitby, Yorkshire, where Captain Cook learned his trade.  Peter is the real McCoy. He is a professional yacht skipper and he will be the master of the new Beagle, in charge of a gaggle of students and a large wooden tall ship that I guess will round the Horn and head towards the Galapagos.

He is also a damn good writer and runs a great if sometimes provocative blog on Evolution. Creationists  beware!
