Books for Sailors

If you cast your eyes left you will see a long selection of books for sailors. If a loved one is wondering what to get you for the holidays, here are some suggestions to email to Santa.

I have read most of them and will vouch for them all. I am reading the Celtic Ring right now. It's a little long and meandering but very good on sailing in Scotland.

Strongly recommend Bernard Cornwell's Widltrack for a ripping yarn and Robin Knox-Johnston's World of My Own, the classic on single-handed sailing.

Fatty Goodlander's yarns are wonderful. Honest accounts of life as a full-time cruisers. Fastnet Force 10 may be one of the best books ever written on sailing and my personal favorite is A Voyage for Madmen.
